Neglected children weaken the pillars

                      Neglected children or children, not taken care of properly,
 ,
 swerve easily from a honest living. They do not care about how they live
 or how they earn money. They only choose the easy way of making
money. They do not bother about the consequences like imprisonment
 or loss of reputation or a clean character. Children are imparted
 education but deprived of morals. For a long time, morals have been
 a matter of silly consideration. This has, nevertheless, brought the
 society to a state of insecurity.

What the parents have done for their children is not impoetant.

                  It does not matter what the parents have done for their children. 
What matters is what they have taught them to do. It is this motivation that
 gives rise to a society that comprises people who are honest, helpful and
skilful. It is this training at home that fills commitment, to have faith in
 divinity, to develop the power to discriminate between the good and
                                         



 bad, and the perseverance to make a honest living. Merely living does
                                         

                                              not make the essence of human existence. How one lives throughout his
                                            
                                               life, is what is important. These qualities decide the nature of the population
                                         
                                               of a country and further enhance the true prosperity of the society where all

                                               people live peacefully and happily.

                           
 

Today's Children are tomorrow's parents

              Today's children neglected or not not moulded properly by their parents can do havoc with not only tomorrow's society but also the succeeding generations                                    .
               When parents find themselves busy with their obligations, they put the task of pruning their child's personality on the backburner. These children grow into reckless citizens turning our society into an unsafe zone. It would be hard to cleanse the society tomorrow when the filth accumulates and form sedimentary layers. It would be better if the purging of personality is done today itself when the world's population is smaller than tomorrow's.

Today's children are tomorrow's citizen

       Poor bricks make weak walls. Similarly.a child with bad traits, make a weak nation. It is unfortunate that proverbs get confined to speech for occasions. They are not put into practice. Parents and teachers can become  the device that can convert proverbs into action. Proverbs and axioms should be inculcated among children through repetition. This needs a sense of social responsibility on the part of the parents. The fruit of parents' care is a safe society. If morals were instilled in the mind of the young in a right way, law and order would be left with little work. The degree and frequency of offence would come down gradually as generations progressed. Awareness is not the business of nature alone. Things cannot be left at the mercy of fate. It is the parents along with teachers, who need to modify the behavior of the child. 

Who would fulfil the child's hunger ?

No, not feeding the child with food but with common sense.


Parents should not only feed children with food but also with morals and this may reinforce common sense. This needs to begin from the stage of childhood  





because an adult who has gone through the crude journey, cannot mend his way.
                 Only then the adult would abide by the business of pruning himself. The business would continue until he says to the world, Good bye.' 

PARENTS : THE PRODUCERS OF CULPRITS

Parents cannot wash off their hands by mentioning the illegitimate cause that their child was destined to become what he is. Nature creates the child. Parents are the medium to bring the child into this world.


 But, it is the parents who need to check  the child's personality

 constantly so that filth or evil ideas do not intrude the sensitive and vulnerable minds. The business of the parents do not end with just providing food, clothing and shelter. The actual business begins with the task of nurturing the child into a humble, responsible and resourceful citizen. A child is more likely to get affected by evil ideas. He can in no time grow into a malicious person. Once the malice intrudes the mind unchecked, it can easily manage to take roots                                                                  ..

 In no time, these roots get propagated into a poisonous tree that can endanger the lives of many. The defective outcome of the carelessness of the parents, can play a havoc on the society. The contaminated youth, not only spoil themselves but also as many youths who fall into their company, It may be the matter of becoming drug-addicts or the matter of unleashing crime.

PARENTS : THE ECONOMY BOOSTERS

Parents can produce good citizens or bad citizens who can decide the fate of the society. Henceforth, determining the prosperity or declination of the nation. To produce bad or irresponsible citizens, what they need to do, is to give birth to children and feel that their business is over. Actually, the real business does not end with merely giving birth. The real business begins after having given birth to them. They need to take care  of them by all means.
            The problem lies in the fact that the business of bringing up children qualitatively, is neither a legal aspect nor a mandatory one. They do not need be answerable to anyone. Also, they need not be accountable to anyone for having broughtforth a defective child or citizen.
            Thus the parents role in moulding the child, can decide whether the citizen who is a new entrant into the society, will drive the nation forward or backwards. Truly, the adage goes ' Today's children are tomorrow's citizens. Stimulating the growth of economy, or robbing the people of their wealth, is directly proportional to the carelessness of the parents.

HOME: AN IDEAL PLACE

A home can be an ideal place where the parents meticulously design the environment. A system should be built that should function like an atom that finds its identity with the element. Unless, each family does not build a kind of perfect system that has its resonance with the nation building, mere governance cannot yield proper results. It would be just like the two men sitting at the either ends of  a boat, holding the sails, but rowing the boat in opposite directions. Similarly, nation's progress cannot reach to considerable heights when each family does not function in correspondence with the governance. For this purpose, it is necessary that all the members of the family update their knowledge and skills needed to face the challenges posed by the fast changing needs of globalization and technological advancement. Otherwise. the families, depending upon outdated skills and occupation, would become fish out of water.
                 Literacy and the will to drive the country forward to prosperity, should engulf the families. Then the right results can be seen, Very little would be left for the government to do because the wheels of the vehicle would get lubricated. What the driver needs to do is to steer, accelerate and apply the brakes when needed. This is how parents and the kind of family they create, can do miracles in conditioning the society.

THE SCULPTORS OF THE SOCIETY

If parents and teachers are not                        




taken into consideration, who else




do we call the sculptors of the society ?  Parents are the potters too.


Their meticulous care                                                     

 decide whether the pot

 would be useful or not.

                                     Undoubtedly, the primary responsibility of  nourishing the seedling into a successful tree, lies not in the hands of the fate. The very shape of the civilized society depends on the role played by parents and teachers. The duty of the parents does not end just by giving birth to children. The real business begins only after the baby is born. It depends on the response of the parents towards the child how and in what way they nurture it. Also the environment that the child has to be exposed to, should be taken care of. Every minute factor of the environment has to be taken seriously because it will have an unimaginable impact on the child's personality. The moral building of the child has to be given immediate priority next to health care. But, how many parents do give a serious importance to the moral building. The illegitimate reason and a lame cause mentioned by the parents is that they are so busy with the business of eking a living for the family that they do not find enough time for such things.

                         It has to be noted that the child whose moral condition is left uncared can pose a serious threat to the society. It is then the duty and responsibility of the teacher to carve the raw child into a responsible citizen. But, this is not actually happening in majority of the cases. Even if it does, it is negligible. The subject experts feel a sense of pride in pouring forth their expertise which is nothing more than subject matter that is dumped passively. It is time the teachers stopped the teaching that is devoid of morals . Again, 

it is necessary to see that the morals do not sound monotonous and drab. It is an art to mix morals with the subject matter in a way as if it were an alloy. Only then, it can give the right results. 

                          Both the parents and teachers,  remain accountable to the character of an individual. The carelessness of the parents and the incomplete role of the teachers, is enough to enhance the degradation of the society. Then the next invitee is the unleashed barbarity that gallops unbridled. To curb down a large number of social evils, the parents and teachers can play a dominant role. By inculcating morals, and by creating a congenial environment in the family, the seed of good qualities can be instilled in the mind of the child. Thus, parents can be the designers of the child's personality.
                             Teacher's motivation at the educational institution would reinforce the spirit of the child.
The moral touch is the need of the time rather than the dry academic concepts or scientific principles. It has become a common thing that most teacher wash off their hands merely by pouring forth the academic elements to build the concept in the mind of the learner.
